Online Questionnaire - HSE Propose Changes to Biocidal Product Regulations 2001

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is aiming to make some simple changes to the Biocidal Product Regulations 2001.
HSE is asking current duty holders to view the draft proposal of changes and give their opinions via an online questionnaire.

Safety alert - Fatal gas explosion in bakery oven

As a result on an on-going investigation into a fatal gas explosion in a small bakery, HSE is issuing an alert to all users of direct-fired batch ovens with rear-acting explosion relief panels.
All bakeries, irrespective of size, are advised to check that the explosion relief panels on their ovens are free to operate properly without impediment or obstruction.

New Management Assessment Toolkit for Small/Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs)
