New Incident Selection Criteria Guidance published

New Local Authority Incident Selection Criteria Guidance has just been published at  http://www.hse.gov.uk/lau/lacs/22-13.htm

It provides a common proportionate, transparent and targeted approach to the selection and investigation of accidents and incidents reported under RIDDOR.  It forms an important element of the Section 18 Standard - “Make it Happen.” 

The procedure aims to provide consistency across local authorities and HSE FOD and does not aim to increase the number of investigations local authorities conduct but to reflect their local circumstances.
