			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A Chichester rubber hose manufacturer has been fined £12,000 after three workers were injured on its premises over two months.<span id="more-20622"></span></p>
<p>Oldham Seals Limited, of City Gates, Chichester in West Sussex, appeared at Chichester Magistrates Court today (14 October 2010) after pleading guilty to breaching section 2(1) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974. The company was fined £12,000 and ordered to pay costs of £4,151.25.</p>

<p>Dave Lomas, 56 from Ancoats, was returning from a coffee break when he saw a five-foot iron girder fly through the factory, smashing his workstation into pieces.
