Powertrain Limited, produced engine components, which are machined by various tools that use water-mix metalworking fluids which create mist in the factory. By March 2006 the cases of probable and definite work-related respiratory disease had reached 1021 mainly of occupational asthma (OA) and extrinsic allergic alveolitis (EAA).</p>
