LAC Number: 77/3 Reducing slip and trip activities caused by floor cleaning - joint HSE/LAS Midlands project 2006/07
Cleaning is a key factor in the control of slips and trips because it affects the surface properties of the floor, the safety of pedestrians (including the cleaners themselves) and the control of contamination and obstacles. Cleaning removes the contamination and obstacles, but it can also introduce them.
