It covers the relicensing of nuclear sites which are privately owned and operated and also those which are operated by a civilian contractor on behalf of a government department or agency. This includes sites operated by a Site Licensee Company (SLC) on behalf of the Ministry of Defence or the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.

Published HSE, it follows a number of recent deaths involving tractors, including a 39-year-old worker who died in East Yorkshire last month while apparently trying to fix a machine with the tractor running and a 46-year-old Scottish man who died in August after his tractor overturned into a ditch.

The Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations 2004, regulation 8(d) sets the maximum duration of a licence at 3 years; it can be for a lesser period.

All bakeries, irrespective of size, are advised to check that the explosion relief panels on their ovens are free to operate properly without impediment or obstruction.
