This report presents the results of a research project which examined the performance of the occupational health (OH) provision on the Olympic Park and Athletes’ Village. The report is based on information provided by the OH team of clinical staff and occupational hygienists on the site as well as data collected from managers and workers on the site, and from other stakeholders.

HSE clampdown to reduce death and injury on construction sites

Construction sites are being put under the spotlight as part of an intensive inspection initiative aimed at reducing death, injury and ill health. Between 20 February and 16 March, inspectors from the Health & Safety Executive will be visiting sites where refurbishment or repair works are being carried out.
