22 Yorkshire and Humber workers lose their lives at work

22 workers were killed at work across Yorkshire and the Humber between 1 April 2009 and 31 March 2010, according to new figures released today (30 June) by HSE.

This is compared to an average of 16 work-related deaths in the past five years in the region, and 24 fatal injures in 2008/09.
