Guidance for first aid training organisations

The revised guidance ‘First-aid training and qualifications for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981: A guide for training organisations’ is now available.

Publication will help first aid training organisations prepare for introduction of the new training regime for first aiders in the workplace. Full implementation will take place from 1 October 2009. Prior to implementation, the current guidance for first aid at work training provider still applies.
