HSE is urging employers to ensure safe working at height after a man was left paralysed from the waist down following a fall of two storeys at a construction site in central London.

Report of explosion at Corus UK Ltd in 2001

This report concerns the events of 8 November 2001 at the premises of Corus UK Ltd, Port Talbot, South Wales. The explosion of one of the company’s blast furnaces led to the tragic deaths of three employees and injury of a number of other people. The explosion caused widespread alarm and concern throughout the locality.

Stress workshop for Trade Union representatives
