The principles are supported by Technical Assessment Guides (TAGs), and other guidance.

Following the completion of the revision of Safety Assessment Principles (SAPs) in 2006 (SAPs06), consideration was given to revising the supporting TAGs.  A TAG’s revision programme is also included showing projected publication dates.
