Consumers urged to check gas fitters’ are CORGI registered

HSE is warning consumers to check gas fitters are CORGI registered. The warning comes after a gas fitter from Wrexham was prosecuted by HSE for carrying out work at a house without being CORGI registered.

Building contractor exposes workers to asbestos

HSE is urging employers to ensure the safety of non-employees who may be affected by risks arising from their work activity. This follows HSE’s prosecution of a Preston building contractor who exposed two workers from another company to asbestos.
