An intensive inspection by HSE of small firms in the printing industry in Leeds, Wakefield and York last month demonstrated some positive results.
It revealed most employers showing a good awareness of health of safety issues, however, out of 121 sites visited and 81 inspections carried out in the month, it was necessary to issue nine enforcement notices at five different factories.
