HSE warns HGV operators about safety during reversing

HSE has brought the safe operation of heavy goods vehicles into sharp focus following a successful prosecution against a Haulage company following an accident to an employee. The company has been fined £4,000 after an employee was seriously injured after being trapped and crushed between two heavy goods vehicles as one reversed past the other.
