The Safety and Health in Mines Research Advisory Board (SHMRAB) is one of the Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE) independent advisory bodies and is a sub-committee of the Mining Industry Committee (MIC).
As well as advising HSE and MIC, SHMRAB’s remit includes providing information to the mining industry on research matters relevant to improving health and safety standards in the industry.
