SIM 05/2007/01 provides interim background information on the Moving Goods Safely 3(MGS3) suite of work; it has been produced to support the 2007/08 planning process; an earlier version was issued to FOD Head of Operations (with the Fit3 planning package) in December 2006. For ease of reference, new text provided in this version is in bold. This SIM is also issued as LAC 85/13 – both documents will be replaced by updated instructions by the end of June 2007.
