Office of Science and Innovation report

Guidance has been drawn up in response to recommendation 2 of the Office of Science and Innovation report which said;

“HSE need to assure itself that it has (and will continue to have) sufficient systems in place to enable it to collate, critically appraise and update emerging scientific evidence consistently and appropriately across the organisation’s range of interests.HSE might usefully draw on good practice already existing within the organisation (e.g. Toxicology Unit in relation to COSHH) to develop guidance for systematically reviewing scientific literature on issues relevant to its work.”
