Respiratory disease, covering occupational asthma as well as the longer latency diseases such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and silicosis, accounts for a significant proportion of work-related ill health and so the The Disease Reduction Programme (DRP), part of the FIT3 strategic programme has a specific respiratory disease project to address this. This intervention falls within the scope of this respiratory disease project.
