Initial report on the findings of the Oil/Fuel Depot Safety Alert Review

This review presents the findings from an alert which asked operators to provide information about key design and operational aspects of their installations. The alert was issued to ensure that operators of oil or fuel depot storage installations similar to Buncefield, were complying with current good practice and relevant standards. The review was backed up with site inspections to ensure that any immediate safety concerns were being addressed.
